Valentine: Thanks to Lori at Moviehole, a scan from the David Boreanz's upcoming thriller is now available. You'll probably hear a lot about this movie from me in the future because two of the cast members in this film are actually (or at least former) Cinema Confidential readers.

Rollerball: Right off her big role in "X-Men", Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is making a name for herself in the movie world by joining the cast of John McTierran's ("Die Hard", "Thomas Crown Affair") MGM-remake of "Rollerball". Romijn-Stamos joins Chris Klein and LL Cool J and will take the role of Aurora. Shooting is slated to take place in Montreal shortly. Wit the film set ``five minutes in the future,'' Rollerball contests are beginning to pack sports stadiums around the world, and a race for TV ratings adds extra havoc and danger to the already brutal sport. Jean Reno (''Ronin'') has been cast as a ratings-hungry team owner. The movie is slated for a 2001 summer release.

Scooby-Doo: Cinescape Online reports that Raja Gosnell has been selected to direct the long-awaited "Scooby Doo" project. Gosnell's other credits include "Home Alone 3", "Big Momma's House", and "Never Been Kissed". The Scooby-Doo project is still in "development hell" with the script still being tweaked.

The Anniversary Party: Parker Posey ("Scream 3") has joined the cast of Fine Line's "The Anniversary Party,'' set to go before cameras Wednesday in Los Angeles. The picture, to be shot on digital video, marks the directorial debuts of Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alan Cumming, who also wrote the screenplay. It's an ensemble story about the complexity of love and the deterioration of relationships. The cast includes Jane Adams, Mina Badie, Jennifer Beals, Phoebe Cates, John Hickey, Kevin Kline, Denis O'Hare, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael Panes and John C. Reilly.

Redneck: Orlando Jones is making a name for himself after his Mad TV days...Jones will star in this feature that is based on his own idea. Written by Brent Briscoe and Mark Fauser, the film will follow a young black man that is adopted and raised by a redneck family in Alabama that believe he is in fact white, but just suffering from a skin condition. When they find out his true nature, "hijinks ensue."

Indiana Jones 4: I know we're all sick of Indy quotes but since it's coming from my favorite talk-show, "Late Night w/Conan O'Brien", I just had to put it up here. 'Clint' checks in saying that Harrison Ford has once again, stated that he's committed to doing another Indy film but that it was a matter of finding time for him, Spielberg, and Lucas to work together. Conan joking stated that the story should be called "Indiana Jones and the Comfortable Bed" in which an 80 Year old Indy just sits from his bed and picks treasures out that he wants.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The most acclaimed international film of the year is coming to the U.S. in Christmas. A full-trailer for the movie is available on the Net right now. The movie has received critical applause worldwide, even from the Cannes film festival. The movie stars Chow Yun-Fat and Michelle Yeoh, and is directed by Ang Lee ("The Ice Storm"). The dialogue in this trailer is unfortunately in Mandarin Chinese but the visuals are absolutely spectacular and has action scenes better than "The Matrix"!.
