It's official: the "Sex in the City" girls will be reuniting on screen for a full-length feature film.
Variety reports that New Line Cinema has inked a deal with HBO Films to distribute the "Sex in the City" movie, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon set to reprise their roles from their hit cable TV series. The movie was originally planned at the end of the show's series run in 2004 but Kim Cattrall backed out due to disagreements about salary disputes. All differences have been set aside, according to the trade, and Cattrall now has a deal that she's happy with.
Series showrunner Michael Patrick King will direct based on a script that he wrote. Show creator Darren Star will produce along with Parker and John Melfi.
