Variety reports that Mena Suvari will join John Irvin's adaptation of the Ernest Hemingway novel "The Garden of Eden." Jack Huston, Caterina Murino and Richard E. Grant are all amongst the cast.
Set in pre-Depression times, the story tells of a wartime pilot-turned-writer (Huston) and his new wife go on a honeymoon in Europe. But while there, she tests her husband's devotion in unusual ways. For example, one of the things she does is inviting an Italian girl (Murino) into their room.
Tim Lewiston penned the screenplay. The movie is currently shooting in Spain.
