The Hollywood Reporter reports today that Dreamworks is working on a script "In Deep" for Ben Stiller to possibly star in. Mark Romanek is attached to direct the project, which is based on an original script by George Beckerman. Steve Conrad ("The Pursuit of Happyness") will be rewriting the screenplay. Stiller is producing the story along with partner Stuart Cornfeld.

The film will tell of a man who tries to fight a parking ticket and becomes increasingly entangled in criminal allegations.

Beckerman's screenplay had been in development as far back as the late 1980s.
