Variety reports that Hilary Swank is looking to develop a remake of "Intimate Strangers" for Paramount Pictures. Swank will produce the film and possibly star in it. Kelly Fremon has been brought on to adapt the script.

Based on Patrice Leconte's French film "Confidences trop intimes," the drama mystery tells of a woman who believes she is visiting a shrink but instead tells her deepest, dark secrets to an unsuspecting accoutant and find that they have more in common than expected.
