Martin Scorsese will be directing a feature film biograpy of the late Frank Sinatra, reports Variety. Universal Pictures and Mandalay Pictures will produce and distribute "Sinatra." Scorsese will also produce the feature as well.

Peter Guber and Cathy Schulman have been producing the project for the past two years and have been busy securing the music and film rights in Sinatra's career.

Phil Alden Robinson has been tapped to pen the screenplay.
