Will Arnett has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' "Jonah Hex," an action western based on a DC comic character. Michael Shannon ("Revolutionary Road") is also in talks to join the film as well.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that both actors join a cast which already comprises of Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Megan Fox.

The character of Jonah Hex tells of a gunslinger and bounty hunter who is partially disfigured and wears a Confederate uniform. His adventures "always ended in blood" and in some stories in the comic book, there are supernatural elements. The studio will keep Neveldine and Taylor's script but Hayward will likely make changes as well.
