Variety reports that the Disney Channel music sensation The Jonas Brothers may star in the 20th Century Fox film "Walter the Farting Dog." Peter and Bobby Farrelly are producing with Bradley Thomas and may direct the feature as well. Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas would star in the film, as well as their younger brother Frankie

The movie would be based on the bestselling children's book by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray about a dog with severe flatulence. The brothers play musicians whose parents are asked to care for the dog by an aunt just before she passes away. Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen are penning the film's screenplay.
