The Hollywood Reporter reports that Dreamworks Animation has set a date of June 3, 2011 for "Kung Fu Panda 2." Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and other cast members are expected to lend their voices again for the picture which will be shown in standard format and 3D.

Jennifer Yu Helson, who was head of story on "Panda," has been upped to director for the sequel. Melissa Cobb will repeat her duties as producer, and Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, who were writers and co-producers on the first film, also are returning.
