Several weeks ago, it was reported by Deadline Hollywood Daily (http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com) that both director Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire had successfully been lured back to do "Spider-Man 4" and most likely, "Spider-Man 5," should the rumors hold true about Sony Pictures wanting to shoot both films back-to-back. While Kirsten Dunst's deal had not been announced yet, it was probably likely that she would return as well.

While speaking with MTV News (http://splashpage.mtv.com), Dunst admitted "I'm in" but quickly recanted, "I'm not saying anything. I know there's rumors..."

James Vanderbilt ("Zodiac") turned in a draft to the studio for "Spider-Man 4" but in all likelihood, the script will serve as a template for two films that will be shot back to back.
