The Hollywood Reporter reports that Jackie Chan will star in the family action-comedy "The Spy Next Door," which will be directed by Brian Levant. Robert Simonds ("The Wedding Singer," "Big Daddy") will produce.

Based on a script by Jonathan Bernstein and Jim Greer, the film tells of a man who is called to babysit his neighbors children. He winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids accidentally downloads a secret code.
