Variety reports that Warner Bros. reports that a "Marvin the Martian" movie is in the works at Warner Bros. The movie will be a mix of live-action and CGI.

Marvin the Martian is one of the Looney Tunes characters and made his debut in 1948. He often tried to blow up the world but would be thwarted by Bugs Bunny. The movie would have Marvin coming to Earth to destroy Christmas but finds himself trapped in a gift box.

The project is out to writers and directors.
