A few years ago, Frank Darabont ("The Shawshank Redemption") was brought on board to write "Indiana Jones 4" and the film looked like it was actually going to happen. Director Steven Spielberg reportedly loved the script but when executive producer George Lucas didn't approve, the project was put on hiatus and David Koepp was brought on to rewrite it, which eventually became today's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
Darabont fought to keep a "Story by" credit but was ultimately turned down. But upon reading the draft of this script, it's clear that many elements were kept for the movie, including the fire ants and the fridge joke.
