The Hollywood Reporter reports that Nicolas Cage will star in a remake of the 1992 film "Bad Lieutenant" for  Nu Image / Millennium Films. The original movie was rated NC-17 and was directed by Werner Herzog.

"Bad Lieutenant" starred Harvey Keitel and told of a corrupt cop who tries to change his ways after being assigned an investigation involving the rape of a young nun.
