Now that he's finished work on "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," director Steven Spielberg may finally get around to that Abraham Lincoln biopic he's wanted to make for years.
In an interview with a German magazine called Focus, Spielberg says that the film may begin shooting early next year after he finishes work on the "Tintin" movie he's co-directing with Peter Jackson. "The Trial of the Chicago Seven" was to have been his next movie after that but the writers' strike slowed down the rewrites that were being made to the script.
Liam Neeson will star as Abraham Lincoln and the project is based on a script by Tony Kushner ("Munich").
