Variety reports that Hugh Jackman will star in a film adaptation of the James Sallis novel "Drive" to be directed by Neil Marshall ("Doomsday," "The Descent"). Hossein Amini penned the screenplay.
"Drive" tells of a Hollywood stunt driver who lives a double life as a getaway heist driver. He gets a surprise one day when he finds out there is a contract out to get him killed.
Marc Platt is co-producing with Jackman.
