Variety reports that while the "Justice League" movie was put on indefinite hold during the writers' strike, it seems as if Warner Bros. will now move forward with the project now that the strike is over. Writers Kieran and Michele Mulroney are reportedly polishing the script and will deliver a new draft to the studio in the coming weeks. It is also rumored on the Net that production will move from Australia to Canada.
George Miller will direct the film based on the comic book series about DC Comics' finest - including Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman - and their quest to team up to rid the world of evil.
"Justice League," to the dismay of some fans and even "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" director Chris Nolan, will not be related to the already existing "Superman" and "Batman" franchises and will feature a very young cast. D.J. Cotrona, Adam Brody, Armie Hammier, Anton Yelchin, Common, Teresa Palmer and Megan Gale had been cast in the lead roles. Brody will be playing the Flash, Gale will be playing Wodner Woman, Common will be playing the Green Lantern and Hammier will play Batman.
