Variety reports that the first teaser trailer for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" will be released next week in theaters attached to "The Spiderwick Chronicles." "Spiderwick" opens in theaters on Valentine's Day. The trailer will also be released on the Net shortly afterwards.

While the film is scheduled for a May 22, 2008 release, a teaser trailer is usually released for a high profile picture at least 6 months ahead. But according to the trade, the movie was recently finished and Spielberg wanted to deliver a trailer with many memorable scenes. The trailer reportedly clocks in at 1 minute and 43 seconds.
