Has the cast for George Miller's "Justice League" film been formed? If so, then be prepared for some surprises as most of the actors are, well, no names. Even the rumored favorite for the role of the flash, Adam Brody of "The O.C.", seems to have been left off this list.
According to SuperheroHype (http://www.superherohype.com), Warner Bros. is close to announcing that these characters will be played in their big budget film adaptation of the DC comic series:
- Superman - D.J. Cotrona
- Batman - Armie Hammer
- Wally West/The Flash - Anton Yelchin
- Aquaman - Santiago Cabrera
- Iris - Zoe Kazan
- Wonder Woman - Megan Gale
- Talia al Ghul - Teresa Palmer
- Green Lantern - Common
One look at IMDB (http://us.imdb.com) will show you that most of these actors have very little experience on the big screen.
Until Warner Bros. officially announces anything (which is expected to come soon), take the news with a grain of salt. After all, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the fact that the project has yet to be cast with an unfinished script may mean that the project may be pushed indefinitely based on the outcome of the writers' strike.
