The Hollywood Reporter reports that Woody Harrelson will join Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum in "Pinkville" for director Oliver Stone and United Artists. Mikko Alanne penned the screenplay.
The project is based on the 1968 My Lai Massacre in Vietnam where 500 people - including children, women and the elderly - were killed by U.S. soldiers. The massacre ended up being a turning point in the war.
Harrelson will play Col. Henderson, the officer in charge of the task force that committed the massacre.
