Intrepid finds the legend of the "Mercy" killer

Variety reports that Intrepid Pictures has purchased the spec script "Mercy" by Carolyn Townsend and Eddie Hartman.

The story tells of a college student who sets out to debunk the urban legend of the Mercy Killer, a killer who makes his victims' deaths look like suicides. She finds herself, however, an unsuspecting target when he names her his next victim.
