Dermot Mulroney joins "Gracie"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Dermot Mulroney will join the cast of "Gracie," a movie inspired by events in the lives of Elisabeth and Andrew Shue. Picturehouse will distribute the movie next summer.

Carly Schroeder ("Mean Creek") will play the role of a girl, Gracie, who battles to join the boys soccer team in her school.

Elisabeth Shue will play Gracie's mother while Andrew Shue will play her soccer coach.
