Erica Durance joins "The Butterfly Effect 2"

Variety reports that "Smallville" hottie Erica Durance, who plays Lois Lane in the WB series, has joined "The Butterfly Effect 2," in which she will co-star with Eric Lively and Dustin Milligan.

The movie will not be related to the original film with Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart, but follows a similar premise in which a character is able to travel back in time in order to change the events in the present, but finds that every little change can lead to drastic consequences.

John Leonetti is directing a script by Michael Weiss.
