Chris Moore to produce "Race With the Devil"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that producer Chris Moore (TV's "Project Greenlight") will be producing a horror remake of the 1975 film "Race With the Devil."

Written by Drew McWeeny, (aka "Moriarty" on Ain't it Cool News) and Scott Swan, the original follows two couples on vacation in Colorado, but after witnessing a satanic ritual performed by a cult, they find themselves being chased by the cult on their own with no help from the police.

The original starred Peter Fonda and Loretta Swit.
