Ashton Kutcher in "Basic Instinct 2"?

Cinescape (http://www.cinescape.com) is reporting from an anonymous scooper that Ashton Kutcher is in the running to play the next victim of Catherine Trammel in "Risk Addiction: Basic Instinct 2."

According to the tipster, he would play "a young educated shrink that she manipulates."

"Basic Instinct 2" has been a project long in development which went through many casting changes and was shelved for a while after an agreement could not be reached with Stone regarding the male lead and her contract.

The sequel, tentatively titled "Risk Addiction," will be directed by Lee Tamahori.
