John Woo to direct The Rock in "Spy Hunter"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that John Woo is in negotiations to direct "Spy Hunter," an action-adventure film that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will star in.

The Universal project is based on the video game Midway Games. It will tell the story of Alec Sects, a former F-15 pilot employed by International Espionage Services as a member of the Spy Hunter team.
