Today, 20th Century Fox and Regency Enterprises officially announced today that along with a "Daredevil" sequel, the studio will greenlight a spin-off film featuring Elektra. Jennifer Garner will reprise her role from the "Daredevil" movie, currently #1 at the box-office.

The new Elektra movie will take place after the events of the first movie, according to the press release. No writer or director is currently attached to the project, but it was announced that script development will begin immediately.
