Confidential "Alex and Emma" Sweepstakes
OFFICIAL
RULES
The
following Sweepstakes is intended for play in the 50 United
States and the District of Columbia only and shall only be
construed and evaluated according to U.S. law. Do not enter
this sweepstakes if you are not a resident of, and located
in, the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The
Cinema Confidential "Alex and Emma" Sweepstakes
("the Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of
the 50 United States and the District of Columbia thirteen
(13) years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors
of Cinema Confidential, UGO and Warner Bros., their respective
subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives,
advertising and/or promotion agencies and the immediate families
(defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, and grandparents)
and household members of each of the above are NOT eligible
to enter or win. Void outside of the 50 United States and
District of Columbia and where prohibited by law.
2. HOW TO ENTER: You may enter online at www.cinecon.com by
completing the online entry form according to the instructions
provided. Only one entry per person/unique e-mail address
will be entered. Multiple entries will be disqualified. "Releasees"
(as defined below) are not responsible for entries not received.
No third party entry or entry through sweepstakes service
permitted. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted.
All entries become the property of Cinema Confidential, and
will not be acknowledged or returned.
3. ENTRY PERIOD: Registration for the Cinema Confidential
"Alex and Emma" Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m.
EST on June 16, 2003. All online entries must be received
by 11:59 p.m. EST on July 5th, 2003.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS: The potential winners will be selected
in a random drawing held on or about July 6th of 2003, from
among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend
on the number of eligible entries received. Winning entries
are subject to verification of eligibility before prize is
awarded.
5. PRIZES: Five winners will each receive (1) "Alex and
Emma" prize package containing one (1) "Alex and
Emma" women's t-shirt, one (1) "Alex and Emma"
poster, one (1) "Alex and Emma" leather journal,
one (1) "Alex and Emma" hat, and one (1) "Alex
and Emma" clock. Prize Package ARV: $55 each. Total ARV
of all prizes: $275. Taxes and any other expenses not specified
herein as being awarded are the sole responsibility of winner.
Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee,
either express or implied.
6. NOTIFICATION: Winner shall be notified by e-mail and/or
regular mail and/or telephone on or about July 6th of 2003.
If prize notification or prize is non-deliverable, the potential
winner will forfeit his or her right to be declared a winner
and/or win a prize and an alternate winner will be selected
in his or her place. The prize winners' names may be posted
on our site.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption,
or substitution of prize permitted except at the discretion
of Sponsor (as defined below). Cinema Confidential reserves
the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value
or cash in the event the described prize is unavailable for
any reason. Cinema Confidential also reserves the right to:
1.) disqualify any person who tampers with the online entry
process, the operation of http://www.cinecon.com or any other
component of this sweepstakes, or who is otherwise in violation
of the Official Rules, and 2.) cancel this sweepstakes should
virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes
beyond the control of Cinema Confidential corrupt or impair
the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the
sweepstakes and, in any such event, select winner from eligible,
non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring such
cancellation. UGO, Cinema Confidential, Warner Bros., and
each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders,
and agents (collectively, "Releasees") are not responsible
for lost, damaged, garbled, incomplete, late or misdirected
entries or mail, or for failures or malfunctions of phones,
phone lines, telephone systems, or transmissions, interrupted
or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications,
failed computer hardware or software or technical failures,
garbled, misrouted, scrambled transmissions, or other errors
or problems of any kind whether human, electronic or otherwise
in the transmission and/or receipt of entries. On-line entrants
must submit a valid e-mail address. In the event of a dispute,
online entries will be deemed made by the authorized account
holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry.
The authorized account holder is the natural person who is
assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider,
on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible
for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with
the submitted e-mail address. By accepting a prize, each winner
agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and
agree that Sponsor and its designees may use (unless prohibited
by law) winner's name, city and state of residence, photograph
and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or
for the purpose of displaying his/her name as a winner without
further compensation, permission or notification. By entering,
entrants agree that Releasees shall have no liability for
and will be held harmless from and against any liability,
loss, injury or damage of any kind, including but not limited
to personal injury, death or property damage suffered by winner
or any other person or entity that arises from or in connection
with the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize
and participation in any prize related activity or the Sweepstakes.
8. SWEEPSTAKES ODDS: The number of eligible entries received
will determine the odds of winning. All drawings shall be
conducted by Cinema Confidential whose decisions are final
with respect to all aspects of the sweepstakes.

This document describes the privacy practices for UGO Networks,
Inc. (“UGO”). As part of our commitment to your
privacy, UGO Affiliate/Partner and/or Sponsor sites post and
maintain their own privacy policies regarding the use of your
information. Please carefully read these policies before taking
advantage of their services.
This policy makes clear that UGO could merge with or be acquired
by another entity. Should this occur, you should expect that
UGO would share some or all of your information with the other
entity.
Information We Collect Via Log Files And Cookies: UGO collects
information about its users in a number of ways. While a user
is on UGO.com or its Affiliate/Partner sites, we automatically
track certain information through log files and, on some pages,
through cookies. This information includes a user’s
most recent visit, the URL they came from, the URL they visit
next, the browser they are using, and their IP address.
Information We Collect via User Submission: We may ask users
for personal information when they:
- enter a sweepstakes, contest, or promotion, either sponsored
by us or one of our business partners
- take one of our polls or fill out a marketing survey
- sign up for and/or use UGO/Partner content or services e.g.
the UnderGround Store, UGOforums, etc.
- ask to receive any of our newsletters
When providing UGO with information, a user is asked to enter
their name and/or email address, and has the option to provide
additional information. Their mailing address may be required
to enter contests.
How We Use the Information We Collect:
- to better understand the demographics, interests and behavior
of our collective audience to deliver advertisements and promotions
targeted to their interests
- to deliver prizes or promotional information from UGO or
its sponsors
Who Else Might See The Information We Collect:
- The Affiliate, when a user visits an Affiliate site
- Our Affiliates/Partners or advertisers sponsoring a promotion
or event
- Our Affiliates/Partners who provide services such as The
UnderGround Store, etc.
- Advertisers and partners using aggregate anonymous data
to profile our collective audience
- Third parties with whom our partners share aggregate anonymous
information
- Independent market research companies pursuant to confidentiality
agreements
- Law enforcement, other government officials or third parties
to comply with applicable law or legal process or to protect
the personal safety of our users or the public
How You Can Delete, Update or Correct Your Information With
UGO: To delete, update or correct personal information or
to stop receiving promotional e-mails from UGO, send a message
to privacy@ugo.com at any time. A user can also unsubscribe
from UGO’s newsletter database by clicking on the “unsubscribe”
link at the bottom of every newsletter.
How Your Information Is Protected: UGO takes reasonable precautions
to protect information you transmit from loss, misuse or alteration
by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect sensitive
information and a series of firewalls to protect our internal
systems.
Children Under 13: Our site must not be used by children under
13. Children under 13 MUST not submit personal information
to UGO.com.
